I have always spent a lot of time in my workshop. But ever since writing two articles (Smaller Than a Paperback and Embedded Video Capture on a Budget) for Embedded Linux Journal back in 2001, I have been interested in the idea of trying to make a living at what I love most to do - which is to make one-of-a-kind objects, continually try new things and test new concepts, and write about the results.

I self-publish much of my work here on my site. Since I am always trying new things, my content is all original and my projects are always new.
